Charlene Shelton

Charlene is an advocate for involving patients and the public as co-investigators in research. She has published one book on how to do this work and is working on a second book for those who are new to PPI. Her current role is in the Department of Orthopedics at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus where she directs the community and patient engagement section of a project that is developing a cure for osteoarthritis.
